The STARTUP, Alternate Livelihood and Innovation Council is dedicated to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and alternate livelihood opportunities across Tamil Nadu. It focuses on building a strong startup ecosystem district-wise, supporting educational institutions for entrepreneurship development, and implementing startup-friendly policies. The council promotes knowledge sharing, professional expertise, funding access, and mentorship. It also encourages GI-based solutions, critical innovation mapping, and lifelong learning initiatives. By creating domain-specific technology hubs and offering domain-led incubation and acceleration support, the council aims to empower local entrepreneurs, innovators, and communities through sustainable and inclusive growth frameworks.
